Setting up Facebook Pixels

Rockerbox leverages your Facebook pixels to construct synthetic events.
Specifically, we use View conversions counts from your Facebook reports for two conversion types:
• Website Content Views - users who view your website content after being shown an ad
• Website Conversions - users who converted after being shown an ad

Requirements for Synthetic Events

  1. Facebook pixel firing across all of your pages
  2. A View content event tracking being setup on Facebook account
  3. A purchase event event tracking being setup on Facebook account

Setup Details

Step 1 - Pixel setup: Set up the default Facebook Pixel (view section Manually add pixel code to website)
Step 2 - Events setup: After you add the pixel base code to your website you need to set events that will measure the View content and Purchase actions. These actions count as standard events as part of conversion tracking. Setting up these events can be done either manually or by using the Facebook Event Setup Tool

🚧

Purchase Conversion is Required

  1. Rockerbox recommends that you implement a Purchase conversion pixel manually vs using the Facebook Event Setup Tool

  2. Facebook purchase conversion should correspond to Rockebox's purchase conversion that will be evaluated
